Amber Kenny LIVE @ Jamberoo Pub

Event Date: Sunday 15th October 2023 from 12.30pm

Amber’s love of music comes from Robertson in the Southern Highlands where she lives on a farm with her family, horses and Maton guitar. Her beguiling melodies and honest lyricism illustrate a gift beyond her years of experience as a singer-songwriter.

Amber grew up in the Blue Mountains and has fond memories of her and her friends busking as a group on the main street with only three songs and three chords they knew on repeat.

“To write a good story that people can relate to, is magical. When all the parts come together, I feel creatively satisfied.”

Amber’s passion as a singer songwriter and love for music goes far back to a wide number of influences including Lauren Hill, Tina Harrod, Melissa Etheridge, Joni Mitchell, Patty Griffin, Dolly Parton and Damian Rice.

Her debut EP “Out in the Open” was released in 2022 and she has recently graduated from the 2023 Academy of Country Music as well as performed at her first Tamworth Country Festival.  She regularly performs with artists including Jo Caseley, Ben Fink, Angus Murray, Lloyd Swanton, Tim Bradley, Andy T and Ron Volcich.

Amber is incredibly excited to release her new single, produced by Nash Chambers in Nashville in May 2023 ahead of her first trip to Nashville in September.

“Amber Kenny is an undeniable force of nature, full of passion, light and energy. Whatever she does, it is clear she does with 100% commitment and this is exactly what has happened with her singing and song writing. After having the pleasure of working together with her over the last while, her undeniable talent, skill and determination have driven this creative journey from whoa to go, and there is no doubt more to come!” – Ben Fink
